You'll be pleased to know that all is well in Takasaki. I haven't posted for ages because my hugely exciting news was a secret until last week. We've had slight change of plans and have decided to head home early.
We're leaving Takasaki at the end of this week because Mark and I are expecting a baby in June. Needless to say we are both equal parts incredibly excited and absolutely terrified.
So I thought I'd post a picture of my soon-to-be guest blogger looking remarkably alienesque.
This is the latest ultrasound - this was 1 December 2006 at 12 weeks and 3 days..

Hey, Suse, that's amazing news! The biggest of congratulations to you and Mark. Please keep us posted and up-to-date with all the current events around (what I will be calling) Laziest Baby.
(p.s. June babies turn out smarter than all the rest, I have evidence to this fact.)
Congratulations amigo. Now, once you are home, will you still be Sensei Suze, or will you revert back to The Laziest Girl or will there be yet another incarnation?
I'd almost given up checking for updates on here. (Of course, I suppose I could have simply emailed to see what was going on, but it appears that I'm also deserving of being called lazy.)
That's really quite way to update after a long hiatus.
Congratulations. (Is that a little hand I see up by his/her face? Thumb sucking already?) I hope you'll keep posting updates. This kid's going to have a following around the world before he/she is ever born. And when the time comes, will you let us all make naming suggestions?
For the record, I hope you aren't going to be one of those people who has to wait until birth to find out or announce the sex of the baby. I'll get so tired of writing "he/she", I might just revert to using "it."
Congrats again, and have a safe trip home.
Well congratulations! Great news. Look forward to more updates.
Congratulations, Laziest Girl! Obviously you haven't been that lazy ;)
Wow! Congrats! :) I've been wondering why the radio silence. Good news is always welcome.
Hi Suse,
Congratulations! This is wonderful news.I hope that you are having a healthy pregnancy. Quinny and I had a little baby girl, Sophia Grace, on 7th of November. She is absolutely beautiful - a bewitching little angel. Like your babe, Sophia looked like an alien at the 19 week ultrasound - in fact I say as much on the DVD! The sonographer laughed and said all little babies look like aliens! I will endeavour to update my blog with some images.
